I stopped in Hattiesburg on my way home to Louisiana after visiting relatives in Tennessee during Christmas week. I chose Hattiesburg in particular because I wanted to make a quick stop at nearby Paul B. Johnson State Park and see what the park had to offer. I-59 passes mostly west of Hattiesburg, so the town doesn't impede the interstate as much as some other towns do. However, it's a fair-sized town and seemed like a neat place during my short visit. I won't have much to say, but I'll mention a little bit.
