A VERY relaxed dining environment, yet the ambiance are warm and sophisticated. The restaurant is very small, but it's one of the most popular eateries in Jackson. This is the ONLY establishment in Jackson that will allow their guests to bring in their own wine, beer, or whiskey for consumption. There is a liquor store in the same shopping center, so it's not a problem to get something nice to drink with your meal (keep in mind the liquor store closes before Bon Ami does).
The place is PACKED during lunchtime, so it's best to call your order in (I'd recommend the grilled tuna club and a salad) and eat out, or come in a little later for lunch. Prices for dinner are expensive, but the food's quite good. Their brownie with two scoops of coffee ice cream with toasted almonds ($5.95 with the ice cream, or $3.95 for the brownie alone). For a main dinner course, I'd recommend the Bon Ami Red Snapper - pricey, but worth it!
