Wetland in Shepard State Park
This blue pottery was fantastic. When the artist saw me taking a picture, he came over and asked me if I was taking pictures of his work so I could copy his design. I laughed and told him I was not that talented. He graciously pointed to my camera and said, 'Well, it takes talent to do that'. I assured him his talent was much higher of the scale of artistic talent...
Admittedly, although I have been through Ocean Springs on several occasions I was usually on the way to, or away from, Biloxi. I never really stopped here. In June 2009 I at least stopped at Shepard State Park which is in Ocean Springs and spent the night at the Days Inn. The town seems nice enough to make me want to stop again, it is even on the gulf.
