Good place at good price

by TripAdvisor Member Tarno

This Best Western is a good quality hotel at a very reasonable price. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and as an added bonus this place does not allow pets, so no flea bites the next day. Although we did not use the indoor pool, it looked very nice and clean, pefect for the kids who were playing in it. It is at an ideal location. Being on the Shepard of the Hills Expressway you can easily drive up the hill to 76, "the strip," and drive to wherever without all the noise and congestion of being on the strip. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, plus if you want to go see a movie the IMAX is just a few blocks down the road. Celebration City isn't more than a mile or so away, Silver Dollar City is perhaps five miles, Whitewater is just a quick mile down the strip as well as Factory Merchants Mall. Additionally, being on Shepard of the Hills provides quick access to many of the traffic relief routes so you can easily get around most of the traffic on 76. Also, the staff is courteous, helpful and you can buy tickets to practically any show or park at the gift shop. Just from driving by the other Best Western (Center Pointe), I think this one beats it hands down. Although not on the strip, it appears quieter, plus the rooms are on interior hallways, rather than having exterior doors. This Best Western might not be the fanciest place in Branson, but I don't think you can beat it for its combination of price, location, simple but comfortable rooms, and a helpful staff.

Nice place to stay

by TripAdvisor Member ousoonergirl1

We travel to Branson 3-4 times a year and have stayed in many of the hotels/motels in the Branson area. We have had some good experiences and really really bad ones. This is the only place I have really liked and chose to return too. The rooms are a nice size, the cont'l breakfast is typical of most places, cereals, bagels, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, juices and milk. The indoor pool was nice to have in the cooler months but the hot tub was not working properly. It was not hot and the jets didn't work. Most of the staff we found was extremely friendly there was a couple of front desk workers that could work on their friendliness. The rooms have a coffee pot but I wish they also had a fridge and microwave. If your not interested in those immenities then it is a very nice place to stay. Great location!!

Wonderful staff and location

by TripAdvisor Member WiSharon

We just spent 4 night/5 days at this hotel. I have stayed in many places in many states but the home friendliness was so genuine at this hotl--we will definetly go back. The front desk person-Heather-was always so pleasant and helpful with my many daily questions. Our cleaning women was very sweet when we stayed in our rooms past her cleaning time.
The location of the hotel in wonderful-and very close to all the shows and Silver Dollar City. It was 20 years since, I was there last.Branson has changed very much.

I want to go back next year and without a doubt will stay there again. The price was very reasonable for this hotel-the pool was a good size.

A Good Choice

by TripAdvisor Member blytheIllinois

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and were quite satisfied. I booked our stay through one of the hotel/ticket booking agents in Branson.
As we knew we would be out and about during the day and at the shows every evening, we just wanted a clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located facility. This Best Western filled the bill nicely. It is right across the street from the Shoji Tabuchi Theatre and also very close to several other theatres and attractions. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds, small refrigerator and microwave. This came in handy as we brought along some pop and a few snacks. The beds were comfortable and there was no problem with noise even though the hotel is located along a busy road. One feature that I liked very much was the extra sink and vanity area with makeup mirror located outside the bathroom. This made it easy for both of us to get ready at the same time.
The continental breakfast was the usual fare, with bagels, toaster waffles, cold cereal, coffee and juice. The hotel does get its share of tour groups so the breakfast area was usually rather crowded and sometimes it was necessary to take one's food out and sit in the lobby area as there was not enough room. This posed no problem though.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is a good place to stay and I felt it offered good value for the money.

Squeeky Clean and Great Value for Money

by TripAdvisor Member Coaster_Fanatic

In June 2007, we took a 3500 mile road trip around theme parks. The hotels selected for the trip were based on location, price and previous trip advisor feedback. Most hotels were ‘just a room for the night’ with little other facilities being used except the free breakfast where available. All bookings were made with the hotel’s website direct 6 months in advance.

This was, by far, the best hotel on the trip. Friendly staff, 'as new' accommodation, great location and very cheap. A real bargain.

Great Pool and nice breakfast plus clean room and maids who spoke English

by TripAdvisor Member scienceguy2001

We stayed here in early June for 4 night and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and the staff helpful. The breakfast was simple and tasty. The travel desk person was helpful planning tickets for different shows. The pool was a large indoor pool and warm enough to enjoy. Fresh towels were provided poolside too.
One night about 10 PM a large softball team of high school girls got very noisy outside our room. They were sitting on the floor of the hall talking loudly with profanity. I asked them twice to quiet down as we were trying to sleep. They didn't. Finally I called the desk and they took care of the problem.

Loved this hotel

by TripAdvisor Member CeeTeeandRay

We (two English couples) arrived in Branson for 2 nights and enjoyed the area and especially the hotel, so we stayed an extra night on our 22 day tour. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean & the bathroom facilities superb. My friend was not well on our last day & the staff were so helpful. They made things very easy for us all & especially for the person who was not well, which allowed us to continue our journey laden with things to help and their good wishes. Very impressed. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel & staff.

Great Hotel

by TripAdvisor Member brootis4

This hotel is very nice. I was on a band trip when I stayed at his hotel, and we took up nearly an entire floor of the hotel. I was able to see various rooms, and they were all in great condition and were clean. The staff was excellent. Breakfast is good. They have waffles and biscuits and gravy, a nice perk! The attendants at the desk were courteous and had a great sense of humor. The beds were comfortable and clean. The only setback for this hotel was that the lighting in the rooms was a little lackluster. By no means is this a reason not to stay at this hotel. However, if you have vision problems and need brightness, these rooms do not necessarily meet that need. I would definitely stay here again.

Best Best Western in Branson!

by TripAdvisor Member BransonfanDekalb

Spent May 18th thru the 21st at the Best Western Music capital Inn, and if this visit was any indication, this will be my first choice for accomodations on all my future trips to Branson! it is located directly on the Shepherd of the Hills Expwy, which we wanted due to it's proximity to Silver Dollar City and the Bluegrass festival. Upon arrival, the room was IMMACULATE!! I have stayed in many a more expensive (upscale?) property, paid a LOT more, and in many instances found the housekeeping wanting. The rooms looked brand new, even though the property has been there for many years. The desk clerk, Brenda, was an absolute gem! Nice to have someone greet you with such a pleasant demeanor after 10 hours on the road! She even gave us hints for good eating in the area instead of the usual chain places. Keep up the good work, Myer family, you've got a winner here in both staff and property!
