Branson Landing
by LaLobo
Had to do it, I've got teenagers. This is a mile or so long stretch of stores on the banks of a river. Nice walk, good people watching, pricey stores, decent restaurants, and if you get to the other end and are too pooped to walk back to the other, you can hop on the trolley.
SHOPPING
by 807Wheaton
There seemed to be two areas for shopping in Branson. Branson Landing, located on Lake Taneycomo, is the downtown restored area and offers trendy shops and restaurants. The anchor stores are Belk and Bass Pro Shops. The Shoppes at Branson Meadows has outlet stores and some restaurants.
Lots to do in Branson

"3 Days in Branson"
With over 49 theaters, outlet shopping, three lakes, golf courses and more October seems to be a perfect time to visit Branson. We were prepared for a long traffic jam upon our arrival but we only had a short wait as we entered this entertainment mecca.
This is lovely countryside and there is plenty to do here.
"Plenty of shopping"
We spent some time at Branson Meadows which is over on the west side of Branson. There is a big outlet here and more specialty shops and some restaurants.
"Take the shuttle in downtown Branson"
Branson Landing, and the downtown area of Branson is very easy to navigate if you take the shuttle. We parked by the Bass Pro shop and from there we walked to the downtown area. There are several places to hop on the shuttle which gives an overview of the downtown and also provides transportation to other places without using your car.
I think I liked this downtown area the best.
