Crown Point Links

We stayed at Crown Point Links, which is a condo associated with the Lodge at Eagle Lake. We had to go to the lodge to check in. It was a little difficult to get to the condo from the road as it was limited access. We were using the condo (space available to military for a flat rate) as a pied a terre for going to St. Louis. Normal rental for a week is $649.00 for a one bedroom place. This is about what the lodge charges for a room there.

I expect this resort is mostly for people who golf although the resort says: Golf is just one of the many entertainment options in an area rich with history, culture, and recreation. In addition to Elephant Rocks State Park, the historic town of Ste. Genevieve is a short drive away. Thrill seekers will love exploring the Bonne Terre Mine. For family fun, visit the Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary. Don't miss Crown Valley Winery. Located in the heart of Route du Vin Wine Country, Crown Valley is a regional showcase. There are many more attractions just an hour away in St. Louis!

Unique Quality: The lodge has a free breakfast and a pool.

We had a jacuzzi tub, a large bathroom with a shower and two sinks, a full kitchen, a living room with a dining table and a TV, washer and dryer (free to use), a king size bed with a TV in a cabinet, and a patio out on the golf course (or upstairs we would have had a balcony). There were lots of closets and storage space.

We were there in January and the place was empty except for us and one other man. The place is brand new - there were no indications that anyone had ever stayed there before us.
