In April of 2002 Becky attended a conference at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Crown Center and we stayed over night in the hotel. We got a break on the price because of Becky's convention.
Connected to Crown Center shops and restaurants by glass enclosed walk ways above the street. Revolving restaurant on roof of the building.
This is a very nice hotel! Its close to Crown Center. It is well know for its restaurant called Skie's. It is on the very top of the hotel and you can eat while you get a view of the city. Oh and let me add that it is at a constant state of spinning but you cannot really tell when you are in it.
A very comfortable hotel, just a couple blocks from Union Station so if you're traveling via Amtrak, this hotel and the Westin are two within walking distance. The sports bar has good hamburgers and bar food; the Starbucks on the mezzanine is convenient and needed as there was NO in-room coffee maker. Room was quiet and comfortable. The shops and restaurants at the connected Crown Center mall were a good convenient, alternative to the hotel's three restaurants. Convenient to the World War I Memorial and Museum, the hotel is a distance from downtown.
