The Wenom Drake House was built by John Wenom for his family (his wife and seven children). He came from France at age 15 and was a butcher, a dealer, and an insurance agent. The Fred Drake family purchased from Wenom heirs in 1918. He served chicken dinners and housed overnight guests for many years. Then, the house had a succession of owners until it was restored in 1973. Today the hosts are Kenneth and Abby Peck who offer three lovely rooms, simply and comfortably furnished. One has a private bath. Others share a bath.
Full breakfast is served each morning. Rooms are $60.00 to $80.00 per night.
