What is different about this motel? You might not notice it, at first. The architecture of most American motels features picture windows looking out at the parking lot. We light sleepers might be disturbed by the comings & goings (early morning travelers slamming their doors, etc. Kids grumbling...business men talking on their cell phones) out there. Well, this motel has nothing but brick walls and room entry doors on the parking lot side! I liked that. There are two doors to each room. The other door leads to the vast green lawn and the outdoor swimming pool. You get a picture window on that side, of course, to look out, or close the blinds. There are plastic chairs to sit on outside your door, if you want to sit in the shade. That's another unusual thing - two doors to your room.
The rooms are normal size & not fancy, but have everything you need. My room had a full size ironing board, electric iron, personal coffee maker (with the coffee, etc.), a hairdryer, and of course, cable color television.
In the morning, before 9 a.m., you can pick up a banana, or more, for a free breakfast, in the lobby. Bagels, cream cheese, cold cereals, coffee, and a bit more. Raj & Mira Patel are the friendly managers. They have a little girl.
Unique Quality: Here's a photo I took of the pool, with surrounding safety fence, the green lawn and you can see the rooms behind...I think there are about 60 rooms, all on one level. No stairs! And they have wheelchair-accessible rooms, too.
