Features of Toad Cove amenities
Accommodating and special upscale presentation to the lake area. Therefor, there is a spa/salon, pleasure pool not for swimming but for casual drinking in the water next to the bar, volleyball, and the dock slips to park that big boat. Next door is the Horney Toad bar/restaurant specializing in food, entertainment and some retail shops.
Unique Quality: The whole complex is intended to be an all in one destination point for the crowd that can afford the prices, as well as the crowd that congregates here to take in the bands and partying on the Horney Toad complex.

Rooms of Toad Cove
Pleasant and spacious. The rooms are large in suites, but obviously the cost is higher. Top rack rate is $525, but the running average now is $280 a night. The other rooms are as small as 400 square feet, and feels tiny.
Unique Quality: Flat screen TV's in main area and bedroom, then another TV in bathroom. Special showers with two heads and a tub/spa jacuzzi.

Resort of Toad Cove
The rooms are expansive and expensive compared to a normal hotel, at least in the suites. There are 2 large flat screen TV's in the rooms and then even on in the bath. The bath has a tub/spa and a large shower. This is the most plush resort at the lake. The hotel got completed around July 4, 2008 was the grand opening. There are some things to do besides having your boat-long and expensive-down there. A pool that is 1/2 covered can serve as a bar with seats in the pool. There is also a volley ball court. Boat slips number about 80, and groups come and go all day and night long. The noise from the bands and crowd are not for me, in my age bracket. It can be noisy and difficult to sleep. But the whole concept is set up to cater to the in crowd and serve those pleasures so they drop a lot of dollars.
Unique Quality: Adjacent is the Horney Toad restaurant complex, which serves food and drinks 7AM to 1AM daily. It is an upscale restaurant and also has a nightclub and outdoor amphiteatre for bands. Many well known names come during the summer/fall months and play. We saw Randy Travis while there.
The volleyball court is there for recreation, and they set up golf packages if desired. The spa/salon is heavily promoted, and appears to stay busy. Mostly you are expected to be leisure and go over to Horney Toad to eat and drink.
