Un Super 8 in O'Fallon
Service was horrible, it took my wife 15 minutes to wait for someone to come to the check in desk from the back.
Lobby was not clean and smelled.
Pool was alright but heavily chlorinated.
Hallways were dark.
My wife found hair in the bathroom.
Didn't have enough towels for the 4 of us.
The continental breakfast was sparse.
The packets of complimentary coffee in the room were hard from being either wet and left to dry or old.
The appliances in the room were old. My daughter was actually able to get her hand stuck to the inside of the mini fridges icebox since it was metal. Later we found out she got frost bite.
Management was rude-when we notified Super 8 corporate and these managers that children could get their hands stuck to the ice box (just notifying them, said that we weren't looking for money or lawsuits, just didn't want it to happen to another kid) my wife was attacked on the phone and called a bad parent. Manager was verbally abusive to her and said that we should have been in the room with her... we were. And said that we should have left her hand on it, called 911 and waited for them instead of pouring water on it.
Looking for just an apology from them but have gone nowhere.
I would recomend avoiding this place like the plague.
