More about Inn at Harbour Ridge Bed & Breakfast

BEAUTIFUL

by TripAdvisor Member peanut1206

We spent a weekend at Harbour Ridge B&B June 2007. It was so beautiful and oh sooo romantic! We have a outside wedding there, Sue decorated and took care of everything is was absoulty stress free! WE HOPE TO MAKE IT A FAMILY TRADITION.

Best of the Best in B&B's!

by TripAdvisor Member stayingathome2000

We have stayed in several different B&B's and this is, by far, our favorite! Ron & Sue are so sweet, the breakfasts are simply heaven, and the house is spotless, nice & quiet and full of fun things to do! Once a year, my husband and I make it a TOP PRIORITY to visit this Inn and reconnect with one another! This last trip, we FINALLY completed our budget on paper, something we'd been trying to do for months! LOL time alone together is SO important! We will be back year after year!!!

Best in The Midwest

by TripAdvisor Member midwesttraveler055

We spent last weekend (10-5 & 10-6) at this inn for my wife's birthday. This was our 10th stay since 2004 & as always the stay was magnificent. This inn was built as a bed and breakfast and the design is great with 2 rooms on the main level and 2 rooms on the lower level that are walkouts. A 5th room is located in an adjacent building. The innkeepers are marvelous hosts that will do whatever it takes to make your stay great. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The setting at the Lake of the Ozarks is great because it's off the beaten path so that you can get away from the traffic but the location is close to many restaurants and shopping as well as close to the lake for those who want to boat or swim.

If you're looking for a truly wonderful experience this is the place to stay.

Great Getaway!

My girlfriend and I went to the Inn for a second weekend getaway - this time to enjoy the fall colors. We booked right after our first stay in June so that we could get the room we wanted for a special weekend. All of the rooms at the Inn are nice, but the Captain's Quarters have a full size hot tub outside on a private deck that is attached to the room. It was wonderful! We used it a couple of times, and really enjoyed it. Of course, Sue's breakfast was fantastic each morning - a wonderful fancy French Toast on Sat morning, and a great breakfast casserole on Sunday morning. We are already talking about when we will return next. We would highly recommend the Inn as a place for a relaxing getaway.

Sue is the best!

by TripAdvisor Member KBCChicago

We stayed here for a friend’s wedding. Anytime we were running late for our rehearsal dinner or hair appointments, Sue picked up the phone without missing a beat to call them for us and tell them we’d be late. Coffee was outside our bedroom door each morning. I needed nail polish remover for a chipped nail and of course, Sue had it. It’s the little things that Sue did that made the wedding less stressful. Her attitude and enthusiasm were great and the surroundings were beautiful too. I would recommend bride and grooms who want a small wedding in a beautiful, quiet place to get married here.

The Locals

by TripAdvisor Member Locals13

We live in the area and do property management. We have heard of the Inn for years and been curious. So after a very stressful year and not enough time to leave the area, but still badly needing a break, we decided this was the year to visit.
We celebrated our anniversary and 60th birthday, and it was an awesome experience. Every detail was thought of as to design of the Inn for privacy and enjoyment of a private hot tub. Accommodating our schedules of working late and having only a short time to stay was much appreciated. The food was great. Perfect fall weather, and the chance to meet wonderful Innkeepers. The only thing that would have made it better was to not have to return to work.
We definitely will go back and maybe even before our next Anniversary or Birthday !!!!

Second time around

by TripAdvisor Member Philmora7

This was our second stay at the Inn at Harbour Ridge, and it was even better than the first. We really enjoyed our first stay there, so much so that we booked a second stay. Ron and Sue are the perfect hosts. They make you feel so much at home, and yet pamper you as well. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We have found out that if there is anything you need, all you have to do is ask. So far we have stayed in two different rooms, and plan on trying out the others to see which one we like the best. Breakfasts are "to die for". You may be tempted to sleep in, till you have had one of Sue's fantastic breakfasts. The portions are large and the food has been scrumpsious. The kind of meal that will hold you over, past lunch and right on up to dinner, We are already planning our next stay at the Inn. If you go to the Inn at Harbour Ridge, tell them that Kathy and Phil sent you, and ask for the "left handed" coffee cups. Sue will know what you are talking about.

Perfect place to celebrate

by TripAdvisor Member short_75

My husband took me to Inn at Harbour Ridge to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived at the property, Sue had a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries and a rose waiting for me. Also, the breakfasts at Inn at Harbour Ridge are superb! The french toast, fresh coffee served to our room daily and the signature pear dish are more than you could ask for. This is the perfect location for a weekend getaway, while still having the amenities of the Ozarks, close at hand.

Wonderful Experience

by TripAdvisor Member Breanne07

We loved our stay at the Inn at Harbour Ridge, it was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast but we have heard horrible stories about B&B's but you wont find that here.

When you arrive you feel so welcomed, and the place is decorated wonderfully. Breakfast was outstanding. The little extras just blew us away. The outside was just as wonderful with a Gazebo and water pond with gold fishes and its winter, it was exquisite. And don't worry you men would like it here too because the downstairs seating room was all in a golf theme. We stayed in the Happily Ever After suite and it was wonderful. The inside hot tub was so nice to relax in. The spa shower and tub were wonderful. The decorations were beautiful and the set up of everything was very nice.
We can't wait till we can come back.

Super Place

by TripAdvisor Member 1955Alan

We just returned from a nights stay at the Inn at Harbour Ridge Bed & Breakfast in Osage Beach, Mo. It was my wife's birthday as well as our 1st time at a B&B. Ron & Sue are just super people and Sue was so helpful in walking me through the reservation process on-line, making diner reservations for me, adding rose petals in our room and those sinful chocolate covered strawberries. Talk about special attention, we got it. They are such nice people, we just felt like we were apart of their family. As for the accomodations, their place is wonderful, in the beautiful southern Missour Ozarks. This scenery would be a even more spectacular in the fall. Everything was clean, fresh, new looking, roomy, and comfortable. We really enioyed the outside hot tub, gas fireplace and two person jetted tub inside. The restaraunt, J-Bruner's, was also very good. We enjoyed the prime-rib, medium rare, and the grouper. For a really relaxing stay, The Inn at Harbour Ridge is a must, we highly recommend it.
