$30 for a full 50 amp linkup $25 for 30 amp, as of August 2013. Pull through sites for big rigs. Beginning on Memorial Day 2011, this RV Park was inappropriately named; it was not on the River's Edge it WAS the river. The RV Park and the surrounding area was under 6 to 8 feet of water. The last of the water did not recede until February 2012. Then the owners had to view the devastation and decide whether or not to abandon their dreams or begin down the long, hard road of recovery. Luckily they decided to stick it out and slowly the park is getting back to the way it was; improving a bit each day.
There are several reasons I recommend this campground. 1) Location, location, location. It is close enough to the interstate to be very convenient. It is in Missouri and also close to Iowa and Nebraska making it a great place to stay as a base for exploring the area. 2) It is far enough away from the interstate that the surrounding corn field muffles the sound making it a quiet, relaxing place. 3) The owners are extremely nice people and bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied (they had not replaced the picnic table at our site and we walked about 10 yards to the table at the next site and before we could finish eating; here came the guy placing a table at our site). 4) I am determined to help people who are this nice and show their type of grit and determination.
Try this park; you will be glad you did.
The people and the location.
Describe my stay? H***. No water until the owner went out and fooled around with the pipes for a while. Minimum heat. Monster bugs.
Got in to the area way too late to find another room.
Hmmmm...gets you ready for extreme camping??
