Nice Accomodations
The hotel is nice. BIG rooms, high ceilings, lots of lighting options, none of which are harsh. Beds and linens have been recently updated and are now more comfortable - especially after having stayed at a lower-end hotel the previous week :) The Frontenac Hilton provides nice toiletry products, too.
The gym/exercise room on the property was remodeled in 2007 and now has 3 nice treadmills (although last time I used them they seemed like they needed a stability adjustment), 2 elliptical machines, a bike and a new universal weight machine (and a couple other stations) in one room, and free weights in another.
One thing I enjoy about the Frontenac Hilton is that the bar serves food and is open in the evenings. This is especailly helpful when you arrive on a holiday and nearby restaurants are closed. The have a great cheeseburger and and sweet potato fries. (Now if we could just get the State of Missouri to pass a no smoking law.)
The hotel is located across the street from the most exclusive mall in town (Niemann Marcus and Saks are the anchors), which also has a movie theater that plays mostly independent films.
