Huntley - Still going strong
I first set foot at Huntley lodge in 2005. Since then I have stayed there 3 times and I plan to go again next month.
Even if Huntley may need some renovation, it has its charm.
Big fireplaces, stuffed animals and a lot of atmosphere.
A good buffet breakfast in the morning.
2 jacuzzis and an outdoor pool for after ski.
The rooms are not so very big and there is little space for clothes.
Otherwise comfortable and very close to the slope
Unique Quality: Very good location. In the middle of the mountain village. Just a short walk to the slope and the mountain mall.

Convenient Accomodations
The hotel/lodge is located right at the base of the mountain ski lifts. You just walk right over. The hotel has a very big heated pool and it is very warm! That was very nice after some skiing. The ski room will hold your skis for free and offers other services for a fee. Breakfast at the lodge is pretty good. Our stay included breakfast so I'm not sure what it costs to have breakfast there. The views from the restaurant are just wonderful so that is an added plus at breakfast. The rooms were not luxurious but very comfortable. Nothing fancy but I did like the electric heater as it was much quieter than some places I have stayed. The TV in the room is the old style analog and channel selections are limited. Free wireless internet available throughout the hotel including your room. Free public transportation is just a few steps outside the lodge. We only had one sink in the bathroom, I prefer having two sinks so we can get ready at the same time. Overall we had a nice stay.

Hotel Big Sky Montana
The Huntley Lodge has a Pool and Fitness complex features a weight room, saunas, outdoor swimming pool and two large outdoor Jacuzzis.
The Huntley complex includes a fine dining room, lounge, coffee cart, concierge, shops, ski storage, meeting rooms and Solace Spa. All rooms have wet bar, coffee maker, small refrigerator, TV, room service. You have plenty of space, staff were very friendly.
