The boys dressed for the fight
When is the best time for snow conditions and sun for skiing Big Sky. Would like to plan first visit and wondering when is the best time to go based upon good weather, and great snow. Thanks.
I had a great time Jan-Mar.
If you have to take your chances, Jan. or Feb. would be the surest things. Here it is 2nd week of December and the only ski hills open are the ones that make their own snow. Our closest one usually open by now has 8" at the lodge and 12" at the summit. As for the weather, it can be sunny or gloomy on any given day in the winter.
Be careful about the lifts. A couple of years ago two women were left on the lifts overnight. It got very very cold!
