Packing List

The biggest thing to keep in mind about packing for a trip to Billings or Montana is that the weather can change quickly. I have seen it snow in July and I have worn shorts in December. Bring clothing that can be layered. Expect some cold weather - but as Billings is a dry climate - it seldoms rains here.

Used to go here for business.
The first time you fly in is so cool.. you're up in the air, and you're looking way down at the ground.. then you land!! up in the sky!! The airport is on a plateau, and then you have to drive down it into the town. They only rent trucks.. 4 wheel drive.. and with good reason.
I got snowed in the very next day.. arrived, no snow. went to sleep, woke up, 3 feet of snow!!
Speed limits are like , 12 mph , (j/k .. it's 35 in the town but that still sucks) , so they make up for it by letting you go as fast as you want on the freeways. Cool!! Except at night it's like 70 or something.
