Winter in Montana
We stayed at the Meadow Lake Resort in Columbia Falls, Montana, from December 28, 2004, to January 2, 2005. The Meadow Lake resort is near Kalispell and Whitefish, Montana, and is large and quite beautiful. I can only imagine what a beautiful golf course it must be in the summer. We found front desk staff to be pleasant and always willing to help with questions. Every day there was a list of activities to do at the resort and in the area.
Unique Quality: The accommodations were great. Our townhouse included a barbeque and hot tub. Because we were there in the winter, the roads in the resort were icy, but they were sanded and plowed every day. There is also a little store on site that sells milk, butter, etc., in case you run out. The kitchen was quite well stocked and included a dishwasher (a must at anytime). The only things that were missing were robes and extra towels for use with the hot tub.
