Located just 7 miles from Flathead Lake in the heart of Northwestern Montana, Kalispell is a wonderful destination for people who enjoy nature and the outdoors.

"Growing Up in Kalispell"

I am still thankful that I grew up in a fantastic place like Kalispell. Weekends were spent hiking up Lone Pine, fishing on Flathead, ice-skating at Woodland Park, or swimming at Foy's Lake.

Plus it was always a treat to go up to Glacier Park during the summer and drive Going to the Sun Road or canoe at Lake McDonald.

It was hard to find trouble with only around 20,000 people in town and the surrounding area. The most trouble people seemed to get into was going out into the fields or woods and drinking beer Oh, and I suppose I can't forget to mention cow-tipping :) Ah, the good ol' days...
