After our stay at the Hampton Inn in Kalispell we know why it is rated # 1 on tripadvisor.com. From the moment we arrived at Glacier International Airport we received excellent service and care. The shuttle left the Hampton Inn to pick us up at the airport as soon as we called. The driver was informative and courteous and offered to take us to a restaurant when we were ready to eat dinner. Our check-in was very friendly and efficient.
The entire layout of this property is one that invites warmness and leisure with a reminder you are in the West. There are four main areas. The fireplace area has a lounge chairs, coffee tables and couches with a nice hot beveridge area and cookies every evening. The carpet had designs of moose, bear and pine trees and the furniture has a Western feel with outdoorsy fabric. The TV area has a sunken floor with a widescreen TV and comfy lounge chairs. The pool area is really spectacular -there are lots of fluffy towels stacked on tables and on chairs. The large pool and the hot tub are decorated in green and gray tiles. This area has lots of natural light with sky lights over the large pool and a wall of windows by the hot tub. This must be a wonderful place in the winter apres ski - watching the snow in the hot tub. The breakfast area is very large with a wall of windows; there are extra tables and chairs outside the area also. The large business/Internet area is right next to the breakfast area and TV area. There are probably 5 computers and printers in this area. All these areas can be seen at the same time. Very nice.
Our room had 2 double beds on the first floor. We stayed here twice in one week. The first night we were over by the breakfast area and when we returned from our time in Canada we stayed on the side by the pool per our request. The sink was outside the bathroom area which is always good. The furniture was light wood which is fitting with the Western motif that runs throughout the Inn. We had a fridge in our room. The TV had plenty of channels which included FOX NEWS. There were plenty of electrical outlets everywhere. This Inn is 8 years old and is still in excellent condition.

Unique Quality: I thought the pool area was really outstanding. The pool is oversized and very nicely done in gray and green tiles, set on the diagonal in the hot tub. The sky lights and the windows and doors to the patio make the area very attractive.
