A great place to stay!
Our stay was wonderful! We made reservations for a night here on our honeymoon! The pool was perfect temperature and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was delicious too! It was a nice little unforseen stop on our life adventure! I have recommended this place to everybody!
Unique Quality: Pool was great. It was really close to the mall and easy to get to other places in town!

Southgate Inn
We have been staying at the Southgate Inn several times a year for the past couple of years. We have generally rented from 2 to 5 rooms at a time and also recommened this hotel to all of our friends. This last weekend we reserved 5 rooms and a friend also got another room. The night we got their our reservations were messed up and it took some time to straighten out. Our daughter and her husband didnt get to town till about 11pm and when they got to the room the bed was made but the rest of the room was dirty. Garbage can was full, soap and shampoo had been used. We complained and after alot of argueing we got our money back on that room. Upon getting home another one of our guests noticed she was missing her blowdryer and curling iron. She called the hotel and was informed the person she was talking to had cleaned her room and did not take the items. Professionalism is definitley no longer part of this hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone.
