When we drove up and found 2 gas cans, part of a hummingbird feeder, emptied planters and cardboard boxed on the entry porch, we should have turned around and ran. The common areas of the inn were cluttered and dirty. Our room had no bar soap, facial tissues or wash cloths. Fortunately, a basket of clean laundry which sat outside our door during our stay did have wash cloths so we dug some out for our use. If we hadn't made a reservation, we would have thought we surprised them by our visit. We found dead fly parts around the edges of the carpet and in the Jaccuzi. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was threadbare as well as filthy. Breakfast was barely edible. When asked if coffee would be ready before the 9:00 breakfast time, we were told we could turn it on earlier if we wanted. The second morning, the old grounds were still in the coffee maker so we went without until late. At 8:50, we asked if coffee was ready and were told there was some in the pot from yesterday that was probably still warm. These kids haven't a clue about hospitallity. Both mornings they served themselves breakfast before the guests were even seated then monopolized the conversation with obnoxious chatter. Do not stay at this place ever.
