Superior is a friendly community consisting of approximately 1000 residents. It is the county seat for Mineral county and it is surrounded by approximately 585,000 acres of National Forest. Many people choose to recreate in our forest by enjoying a variety of outdoor activities: hunting; fishing the rivers, streams, and high mountain lakes; hiking the trails and camping at any of our fabulous campgrounds or getting further away for a secluded campout.
