My niece, her husband and their four kids stayed in a cabin at Mahoney State Park. I stopped by and it looked pretty nice. The cabin did not have enough eating utensils or towels for 6 but when she contacted the lodge the problem was solved fairly quickly. They enjoyed the visit and the cabins. Not sure what they paid.
$24 (with water and sewage) as of August 2013. I did not sleep here but my sister, her husband, and my nephew did and I visited them at the site. The campground was fine for their big rig and was very pleasant. A family of Turkey walked by twice a day. There was a small firepit and a picnic table at each site, and a laundry/shower facility within easy walking distance.
$88 in August 2013. The lodge had no refrigerator or microwave possibly because they have a restaurant and a bar. Decent TV but no HBO. Phone was unplugged and then I discovered it did not work anyway (you couldn't hear anything). Nice sized room. Pretty nice place. Lots to do at the park.
