One of the most expensive hotels I've stayed at, the ABVI in Broken Bow NE is poorly kept. The staff is discourteous and lazy, and the cost is far from worth the accommodations. These costly rooms are tiny, with barely room for the bed. It is obvious the linens are not changed daily, and the comforters are not changed with each guest. The manager is a huffy little gal, stuck up and very stern acting. She seems to think ever guest is out to get her hotel, and treats each like a potential criminal. The continental breakfast is, while free, still disgusting. They have after tasted juices and previously frozen biscuits and gravy. They also obviously reuse the gravy day after day, as both nights we stayed here we witnessed the gravy being poured into a pitcher and saved, making it at least 3 days old (and it TASTED it). Save your time and money and stay down the street at the Arrow, or even the less expensive Gateway. The Gateway is clean and the manager courteous, and the Arrow is exciting, clean, has great staff, a pub, large rooms worth your money, and has a GREAT restaurant within.
They advertise a hot tub but they no longer have one. They also advertise a fitness area, which is really TWO machines, a treadmill and a stair climber and nothing else.
