They're delightfully unpretentious (except for the sorority girls at the U; and they don't count). If you're really strapped, a Hefty bag works just fine. They don't do trendy here, so feel free to represent as a throw-back to Eisenhower's America. It's all good. That completely depends on what your poison is. Remember, it's a college town, so you can get booze almost anywhere--just don't drink it as you teeter down the street. They really hate that kind of thing. A disposible works just fine. In fact, if you draw, a sketch pad might be fun--the sunsets especially during harvest time. The grain dust makes the sky glow pink and orange just at twilight. Forget the beach thing completely. Camping gear is fine, but the bugs are fairly annoying in the summer. Just don't forget what I said about polyester.
