Hi all!
I'm moving my family and I up to Lincoln, Nebraska in October. I'll be working for the Nebraska Air National Guard, and I want to know whatever I can learn about the area. What are some good/bad parts of town for houses? How are the schools? Weather? Local sports?

Very easy, I can make twice as much money in Nebraska by myself, instead of both my wife and I working here in Oklahoma.
My wife is the diehard Sooner fan, but for me, Go Broncos!
Will your work be at the Lincoln
Airport that the commercial
airlnes use, or another location?
The Southwest Lincoln area might
be convenient for you, if yes, and
there are many newer houses,
mainly south of Hwy 2.
The area south of about D Street
and East of about 17th Street
has many attractive houses, but
they are generally older houses
than in the areas further South--
not sure if you have a preference
on new vs. old houses.
The areas West of about 27th
or 40th or 48th street would
probably have lots of choices
and more convenient to the
Airport than further East. The
neighborhoods are similar
further East to 84th Street or
beyond, but might be further from
your work.
THE MOST FLAVORFUL, SMOOTHEST LATTES WE HAVE TASTED. We love Starbucks, but after trying Scooters we will probably stop there next time.
The O street location has Wi-Fi access.
4 PHOTOS ATTACHED A decaf Latte with Hazelnut flavoring. Irish Creme flavor comes in a close second.
