arriving after a long flight just close to midnight, it was nice to arrive at this familiar hotel. the receptionist gave me the key room 104..

First name basis with the Staff

Yesterday my flight from Omaha to New York was cancelled, so I had to divert myself through Houston to Paris but it necessitated one nights stay in Omaha. They offered me Hilton Hotel but I asked them, can I go to Sleep Inn? It may sound strange to refuse a night at Hilton for the simple hotel Sleep Inn, but my choice was soon paid of. They sent faxes and made bookings for dinner for me; arranged a limousine to come and pick me and back for dinner.. sleep Inn may be a simple hotel from the outside, but the service is certainly Five Stars

Directions: very close to the airport

after a long trip into Omaha ( from wherever you come, it is a long trip), it is nice to relax at a hotel near the airport and to me, it is always Sleep Inn.. the staff has changed but the friendliness remains and within a visit or two they know you by name and do their best to make sure your stay is fine..

Unique Quality: airport shuttle
airport is only five minutes away
free internet
very reasonable rates
clean rooms
good breakfast

Friendliest Service in Omaha

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on April 24, 2008

After my infrequent visits to the American Indians 100 miles to the north, I have to take early flights to Miami on my way elsewhere, I spend the night here at Sleep Inn. Without doubt this is the most warm and friendly welcome that i have received from any hotel, big or small in this part of the world.
they try to give you the best room, close to the entrance so that it will be easy for you to take your luggage in and out, there is a breakfast which begins at 4 am in the morning, unlike some hotels which begin their breakfast service too late for you to partake in.

Unique Quality: I always stay at Sleep Inn when the occasion demands in Omaha, Nebraska. Being a Choice hotel, each stay accumulates points and once in a while I am able to use it on some trip or other. Recently I was able to get a free room at Comfort Inn and Suites in Cairns Australia

Friendliest welcome to a weary traveller

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)

Last night, my flight from FLL to IAH was delayed and had not the flight to OMA was also delayed, i would have been stuck in IAH, sleeping in some nameless characterless hotel. i called sleep inn in omaha where i had the reservation and explained the situation. the lady said that if i couldnt make it they will cancel the reservation and wouldnt charge my credit card but if i could make it please call and they will hold the room since the hotel was very nearly full.
rushing to the E gate at IAH after arriving at C gates at IAH, i was relieved to find that the flight to OMA was delayed and i called back the hotel and they thanked me for calling them back.
when i arrived the room was there and warm and welcoming. the breakfast was fruits and yogurt and a very nice cup of coffee which was on the house.
the new manager is also very symapathetic, obviously, they realize that this traveller has come a long way, and the purpose of the trips to omaha is just to go north to be with the Indian tribes

Unique Quality: shuttle to the airport which is just five minutes away
rental car facilities at the airport, so if you arrive late you can stay here and go and get the car the next morning
continental breakfast which includes toast and occasionally eggs, fruits and yogurt and coffee
very friendly staff
reasonable tariff. i am given a special rate because i dont know why, but that is the american way.
the other benefit is that i am member of their choice privileges plan and accumulate points with each stay and i was able to stay at Lisbon Clarion Suites and also at a Clarion Hotel in mid town manhattan and another one in Portland Oregon airport. so little gifts do add up. a very satisfying stay for me at sleep inn in omaha
