Carson Nugget: The Best Deal In Town?
Unique Quality: They say they are the "Best Deal in Town", and at $46 per night, per couple, that sounds like a great deal to me! A moderately sized motel, which I imagine will fill up quickly. this $46 deal is available all year round, but subject to 'availability', whatever that means!

St. Charles-Muller Hotel: Victorian Elegance
Although I never entered the building, it appears that it is no longer in use as an Hotel. However apparently a restaurant on the first floor is open to the public during normal operating hours.
Unique Quality: Constructed in 1862, one of the first hotels in Carson City was also one of the state's most elegant and became the main stage stop in Carson City. It consists of two utilitarian buildings, a two-story one on the south and a three-story one on the north, each with Italianate details. The St. Charles-Muller's Hotel is one of the oldest remaining commercial buildings in Carson City, and the second oldest hotel in the state. The northern portion of the building, the St. Charles Hotel, was started on April Fool's Day 1862.

Deer Run Ranch: Great scenery and even better food
The Deer Run Ranch located about 5 miles from Carson city on Washoe Lake is a wonderful destination.
Proprietors, Muffy and Dave, always make visitors feel welcome; just like family.
The location is centrally located to allow visits to near by Virginia City, of Comsock Lode fame; the capital of Nevada, Carson City; Reno, the biggest littly city in the world; and of course the incomperable Lake Tahoe.
Unique Quality: Start the day with Muffy's incredible gormet breakfast. Many of the vegetable are organically grown on the property or in her greenhouse.
The pool in the summer is just enough to refresh after a day exploring the areas.
