 | Nevada Reviews | Tips 1 - 10 of 73 | | Carson Valley Inn is a complex consisting of a hotel with casino and two restaurants, a motor lodge, a market and gas station, an RV park, and a third free standing restaurant. Service in every venue is excellent. All employees are well trained, courteous, and move with a sense of urgency in caring for their guests. The whole complex covers almost 4 city blocks along highway 395 as you enter Minden, Nevada from Carson City. There is other lodging in Minden and nearby Garnerville but CVI, as the locals call it, is the best way to go.
All guests in the hotel, RV park, and the Motor Lodge can use all of the facilities.....swimming pool in the shape of the state of Nevada, spa, workout room, gift shop, cabaret with live entertainment 7 nights a week, 3 restaurants, transportation between buildings, free drinks while playing machines or games. We had stayed here to treat ourselves one night, even though we had baby in hand and were trying to conserve money. But I was tired!! So, the hubby checked us in and they gave us an option of a fabulous room with a free breakfast. I loved the room and what a view. Nick just explored the whole room from top to bottom. It was comfortable, pretty, and had his and her bathrooms which anyone would die for. So many wonderful amenities to list. Great hotel.
We had a yummy breakfast on the top floor with a wonderful view. Toll Free number;-) (1-800-427-7247). As a general rule, you will get better value for money on hotels and food in Nevada than almost anywhere else in the US. Many restaurants offer amazingly cheap buffet meals as well. Reason? They want to entice you inside the door in order to get your money in the casino. You'll find slot machines (fruit machines) virtually everywhere, so you're always tempted. And the big hotels are designed so that you can't get to the elevator to go to your room without going through the casino. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

I think The Wynn is the best hotel in Vegas. I've stayed at The Rio, Bellagio, Ceasars, and The MGM Grand and The Wynn is easily the nicest hotel. Great service and beautiful hotel with full amenities. Not cheap but worth the money. Excellent Spa as well.
Great spa and pools. Fantastic restaurants and impecable service.

In Las Vegas we stayed on the campground of Sam's Town. This is also a hotel and a really big gambling centre. Very good restaurant too. A shuttle brings you to the Strip.

So much to choose from. we stayed at the Paris Hotel. There were cute little cafes that you could have a crepe and coffee while you watch people go by. The hotel was relatively close to everything on the strip. We even caught the water show at the Belagio by our window. Leave a Comment Theme: Hotel

Fountains of Bellagio - breathtaking union of water, music and light is so enjoyable, I can stand there whole night for different songs and never get tired. If you can afford it stay here, or stay next door or any hotel on the strip and take a wonderful walk here. Great lobby, botanical garden, fine art gallery, shops, restaurants and buffet.
