Family Fun

We never stayed here, but many of our friends have. Some were content with it being very inexpensive, especially for families. The décor is adequate and the comfort of the rooms. Yet, they were not always happy in how crowed the pool area....lol….kids love the pool. Yet, the best feature the hotel has is the daily Circus Acts on Midway from 11 a.m. – midnight. The Midway itself is pretty cool with the neat carnival games. We always have fun here. Great place to take the kids.

Now if that was not enough, Circus Circus has an 5 acre Adventuredome This theme park is open daily. Please call their hotline for up-to-date hours, 866-456-8894 or 702-794-3939.

budget

circus circus is the least expensive high rise hotel on the strip. they offer a large casino and entertainment area. if you are on a budget and want to stay on the strip this is your least expensive option.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our time here. CIRCUS CIRCUS is fun for the whole family. Mom and Dad can have fun in the Casino and the kids can enjoy "The Adventuredome Theme Park" and the games and activities in the "Midway" and Free World Class Circus Acts under the Big Top. ( Performances held twice every hour from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
Hans stayed here this time around. The special deal he got was if you stayed three nights, you got one of those nights free.

Circus Circus also has a KOA RV Park with its own swimming pool and is located across from the parking garage and near the Manor.

Also stayed here March 7 & 8, 12 & 13, 2000 when we did a Las Vegas / Palm Springs Trip.

Update:
While on our "Road Trip 2009" Hans and I stayed here for two nights - Sunday September 27 and Monday September 28, 2009
We stayed in the Manor "A"

Cheap Accomodation on the Strip

This was probably one of the worst hotel/casinos we went to in the whole of vegas. It was old, dingy, dull, dark, and in need of a big renovation. But it was cheap. I mean really cheap. We got a deal from the UK with our flights and it was by far the cheapest accomodation available.

Rooms were basic but large and comfortable. The only time we were there, we were asleep, but it claims to have one of the best steak houses in vegas!

Its at one end of the strip which was a bit of a pain, but cabs are easy to come by and there was a 7eleven near by which was a life-saver in terms of being able to go somewhere and get some healthy food! I'm sure its great if you have kids but I dont expect I will be going there again!

Its great if you want to be on the strip at rock bottom prices.

If your looking for decent accomodation then avoid, but as I went to vegas mainly for the poker and shows/nightlife I didn't spend much time there so it wasn't a big deal!

Unique Quality: I've mentioned it numerous times before but it is cheap!

Circus Circus= Kids Kids

Very affordable, but as several cabbies said "how do you get by all of the strollers?" The casino was pretty run down (but probably just reflected its age.......unlike the Stratosphere which is similar in age, for example). For those not into kids, this is NOT, repeat NOT the place you want to stay and gamble. The amusement park is pretty good, but again.... watch the strollers.

Unique Quality: The midway games were pretty cool & the price of the games were a third of the cost of our local state fairs in Virginia. Not much to be ecstatic about unless you went as a family. I could see if we brought out nieces & nephews that they'd have LOVED it, but for just adults... not so much.

Hotel suited for a Family

Due to its huge number of rooms, service is compromised. Rooms are not up to standard and quite old. Located in the northern part of the Strip, it is quite a walk to the Strip Center. One needs to pay for internet connection in the room. Long lines during check in and check out even in its restaurants. Families will find this hotel good as there are lots of attractions for children like rides and circus all day.

Best for Children

Stay at Circus Circus if you have little children and book your family on the Manor since it is closer to the hotel's swimming pool. You can bring your children everyday at the pool especially when it gets too hot in the desert!

Get the coupons at the front of the hotel and it gives you $4 discount on the All-Day pass for the rides at Circus Circus. It is best to buy the All-Day pass than the single passes since you and your children can go back and get to ride again. You save a lot of money that way!

Unique Quality: The Manor House is very close to the swimming pool and the parking is just outside the hotel. You don't have to walk blocks and blocks away to get into your car. You can actually buy a lot of food outside and just store it in your car and you can always have easy access to your hotel.

Hope you like clowns

I had heard mixed reviews about this place, but stayed there anyway. I liked it. Yes the walls were thin and the bed was uncomfortable, but I think thats pretty standard in Vegas. We stayed in the West Tower on the 35th (top) floor facing the strip. I booked on the Circus Circus website and got a packeage deal with 2-for-1 buffet, 2-for-1 at one of their restaurants, a free pitcher of margaritas and a coupon booklet. All that for $41 (including tax) a night, on a February weekday.

Unique Quality: The picture was on our wall, it was kinda a creepy picture. There were other circus pictures in the room, so if you have a fear of clowns, stay away from this place. The restaurants were all good. The midway and circus acts were nice entertainment when we didn't want to gamble and didn't want to leave the area.

Family Fun in Vegas

A great place for families with kids, plenty to keep them entertained, amusement rides, arcade games, mid way, and circus acts. Fun for adults too. There is plenty of gaming to meet your gambling needs, a variety of shops and restaurants on site. Can be a little noisy and a lot of children moving through the main corridors. Be prepared for long walks to get out of the casino to the strip, wear good walking shoes. The staff for the most part were fairly helpful, slow service in some of the restaurants. The rooms were clean but older decor..circus theme of course.

Unique Quality: Amusement rides, Circus mid-way, A Variety of casino gaming, Access to pool area could have been a little better maintained.

Anyone been to Circus Circus, do they supply pool towels or do we need to bring our own.
Since booking I have read some bad reviews of this hotel, anyone anything good to say about it.
Keeping fingers crossed.

You could do better for a hotel for not much more. Try the Aladdin, Excalibur, Stardust etc.

Hey,

I agree with the previous post! but if you cannot cancel, some positives would be a large arcade for children, has a theme instead of just a plain Howard Johnson, a short cab ride into the heart of the strip.

You'll still have a great time even if you end up staying at the Circus Circus because I'm sure you won't be spending much time there anyways.
