i can whole heartedly recommend circus circus
rooms an honest value. clean comfortable and priced right excellent customer service, too. another treasure i found when i called from mesquite was the flamingo. i got a 25th floor suite with an almost all glass window visage that had an impressive view. and only $89.
good slots great location and what history!
i paid $89+tax on a thurs, nov. night last year for an executive suite. great deal!
Unique Quality: excellent front desk check-in, out of the way secure valet parking, great mix for gambling, great value all over and location is excellent
Directions: center strip every one knows the flamingo. circus circus you can start clowning around when you see the big guy heading north on the strip, look for the big top!
Book in advance instead of walk-in and if affordable, better locate in city center like 'Treasure Island'. Otherwise, Circus Circus, not a bad choice, though a bit far from other city center.
Unique Quality: Night shows available, nice room condition
Directions: the Las Vegas Boulevard, near other hotels like The Mirage and Caesar Palace
Circus Circus, 3 star hotel on the Strip but pretty far from main happenings.
Two bedroom, queen size beds, no breakfast weekend $110, weekdays, $80.
Unique Quality: I have to admit we didn't make the best choice for the accommodation here. This hotel is OK, but is overpriced and its location is not the greatest. Also next time when I go to Vegas I will get the cheapest room because literally the only time that we spent in the hotel was for sleeping.
Directions: On the strip
On our 3rd promotional 'free' trip, we ended up upgrading again for a small fee (couldn't cheaply change the flight times on the airline--United-- this time) and they put us in Circus, Circus.
Unique Quality: Very family friendly with carnival booths and rides for kids. But not bad for adults, either. THe room we stayed in was very nice----large and nicely furnished. This is one of the cheapest casinos on the strip, a good value for the money.
Our second visit, we stayed in Circus, Circus but any of the Hotels would be OK as you can go in and eat or use the casinos wherever you fancy.
Unique Quality: Circus, Circus... has a theme park, with circus act every hour during the day.
RV park , Swimming pools etc.
There ar several rides something for all tastes and ages. Parade of shops in a cobbled walkway. We found was hard to find your way around, even if you were staying there !! ( I know that is the idea)
It did not work with us, we only gambled a little each evening. The rooms were roomy with a view of the strip and with all facilities.
There was a coffee bar by the lifts so that you did not have to go down to the restaurant for a snack, drink etc.
The restaurant had quite a good choice and we did eat there often, especially for breakfast..Taxi and Limo service available. the rear
Directions: Bottom end of the strip oposite Riveria
$34 - $39 weekdays and $69 - $89 weekends
Unique Quality: A large hotel, with friendly staff, but you don't have to walk a long way to get to check in and hotel room. Also they didn't apply any surcharges when we checked in. Some of the hotels have those even when you prepaid your room. They also gave coupons for free breakfast that's very rare in Vegas getting things for free !
We lived in the Circus Circus.
Unique Quality: As the first themed mega-resort in Las Vegas, Circus Circus pays tribute to 20th-Century European aerialists and acrobats. The circus tradition is kept alive under the Big Top with free circus acts, a carnival midway, arcade games and The Adventurdome Theme Park. This hotel is certainly a favorite for families with children. But it's also fun for a little bir older kids like me!

Anyone been to Circus Circus, do they supply pool towels or do we need to bring our own.
Since booking I have read some bad reviews of this hotel, anyone anything good to say about it.
Keeping fingers crossed.
You could do better for a hotel for not much more. Try the Aladdin, Excalibur, Stardust etc.
Hey,
I agree with the previous post! but if you cannot cancel, some positives would be a large arcade for children, has a theme instead of just a plain Howard Johnson, a short cab ride into the heart of the strip.
You'll still have a great time even if you end up staying at the Circus Circus because I'm sure you won't be spending much time there anyways.
