A Quiet Haven
Our group occupied a large block at the Courtyard Marriott Convention Center for five days, and we were very pleased with our stay.
This hotel doesn't have a casino or a big restaurant, but for us, that was a major plus. It was important to us to get away from the noise and the glitz and have a quiet oasis to retreat to at the end of a long day. This would also be a good place for a family with small children.
The hotel is clean, quiet, and right across the road from the Convention Center. There's a swimming pool, and a small bar-cafe that's an extension of the lobby.
The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. We made some last-minute requests that were pretty involved -- threw them some virtual curveballs -- but they handled them all, cheerfully and efficiently.
I highly recommend this property and would go there again.

Excellent accomodations
Not a giant hotel where your can't find the elevators in the dark casinos.
Stay connected and productive with free high-speed Internet access, on-site 24-hour fitness center, business center, pool and Whirlpool
The Courtyard Cafe for a healthy breakfast buffet, evening cocktails and light dinner
Unique Quality: Large rooms and pool nearby.

A: "West Rim is closer to Las Vegas, but is a huge tourist trap. It isn't actually located inside Grand Canyon National Park. It's a privately run casino / resort type place."
