Oh, Snap!
Having made my way over to the Eastside Cannery late at night, I still needed somewhere to eat dinner. I was pondering what to do, and cruised over by Snaps, the 24 hour cafe, when a Prime Rib special caught my eye. As it was late at night, I was seated immediately...there were only a few other patrons in the restaurant. The decor is fine, though nothing too exciting. The server seemed disappointed that I went with the special - but at $5.99, I had to give it a try.
What I got was very good for the price - about a 10 ounce cut, cooked just as I like it. I chose mashed potatoes and the steamed veggies as my sides, and they were both pretty good. I had a small house salad and the rolls while waiting, and they were decent as well.
In total, what you get well exceeds what you pay for. It's not quite as good as the Ellis Island special, but still a very good deal!
