I stayed here for 4 nights in August 2005 after getting a great deal of just $57.00 a night,plus taxes.
My room was in the Grand Tower,with a good view of the lower part of the South strip.
The hotel which was the biggest in the World until recently is still the 2nd biggest at time of writing,with well over 5,000 rooms.
My room was a good size with a king bed and the usual amenities such as tv,hair dryer,iron/board and a safe,which is always an added bonus imo.
There is a pool and not surprisingly its very big,with so many customers staying here at any one time.
Saying that i recall one hot sunny morning i was at the pool for over an hour and only saw about 10 people here also so its not always packed.
The bathroom was fairy large and all in all i enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again in the future,specially if i could get the $57.00 offer once again...lol.
Obviously being such a big hotel there is often a long walk from the strip to your room,as was the case with me,but once you find your way around you soon get used to it,and its not really a problem.
Just before you enter the lifts area there is a small convenience store selling things such as pop,sweets,candy etc,which comes in very handy at certain times.
