    We found this delightful Italian wine bar in here, cannot remember its name, the wine was superb and we had an assortment of cheeses to go with it, it was quite peaceful in there you didn't notice the hussle and bussle that was going on in the rest of the hotel.
    The only downfall was that they didn't serve coffee, but you can't have everything.

    My favourite casino in Vegas but I was disapointed with the size of the bedroom. There were three of us staying and there was no floor space once the rollaway bed arrived and it felt cramped.

    Check-in was quick but they couldn't find us a non-smoking room which we had reserved.

    Booked to stay in the Monte Carlo next time. It's right next door and hopefully the rooms will be better.

    Having stayed at a few different Vegas hotels, I think that unless you are booking a deluxe room or suite, the rooms are all pretty much the same. That is to say, a standard uninspired room. The special things go into the rest of the hotel - the casinos, the restaurants, etc. And I guess that is okay since you don't go to Vegas to stay in your room. That being said, the standard rooms in New York, New York are fine.

    The hotel is large enough that it may take you 5 minutes to get from the front desk to your room. The casino was nice and the New York feel was pretty well done. Of course, one of the big attractions here was the roller coaster on top of the hotel.

    The 9 or 10 restaurants include Gallagher's Steakhouse and Nine Fine Irishmen, which was a great place to go for drinks and to listen to music. The Coyote Ugly bar was small and nothing special. There are plenty of other more interesting bars in Las Vegas.

    We also saw Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil, which was a little odd and definitely not one of my favorite Cirque du Soleil shows.

    The location was okay but not center of the strip. That's okay as long as it's not too hot since you can walk the strip to check out the other hotels.

    Overall, the hotel was fine. I'm not sure I would stay here again just because there are so many other hotels to check out. If you decide to book a room here, be sure to check out the promotional specials. Sometimes you can get a room for $60-$70.

    Lets start off by saying that Vegas is overpriced.... You pay way too much and use the room very little.. A few hundred dollars a day for a place to spend 8 hours to sleep.....

    The staff was very friendly. The place was very clean. The casino was very smokey. We were happy with the hotel. The breakfast resturant had good food (even if overpriced like the rest of Vegas). Would I stay here again ?? I don't see why not. It has a great location on the strip and we had no problems.

    Sorry I don't say much about the hotel. I found that every hotel we looked around, eventually started to look like the next. All were fancy with lots of Glitz. Each was its own little fantasy theme park.

    Every hotel here seems to have some unique feature, i.e. fountains, pirate show, gondola, etc. Ney York, New York had the mini streets inside and the roller coaster outside.

    Perhaps my second favourite hotel in Las Vegas.

    Great rooms, although finding them can be a little tough as the hotel layout is somewhat confusing.

    Facilities and amenities are all that you would expect of a Strip hotel.

    Try the rollercoaster.

    'The Bar at Times Square' where they have dueling pianos most nights is excellent singalong fun.

    Perhaps 'Nine Fine Irishmen' for imported beers in a reasonable facsimile of a Irish Pub. Good food can also be found here.
