What is happening in Vegas Sat 4th December 2010

Hello

I am looking for hotels for November December and have noticd every hotel is expensive on the 4th December which means something is normally on in Las Vegas.. I would like to know

Now i have searched the web but cant find anything.. Would anyone know whats on..

Probably due to all the conventions that are in town that weekend. As an example, 60,000 for 2010 NFR Cowboy Christmas Gift Show, 10,000 Association for Career and Technical Education, and the list goes on and on, don't forget many people who are going to conventions arrive perhaps a few days early or stay a day or two after the convention is over, and of course Dec 4 being a Satuday means one of the two days when hotel rooms are most expenisve in the first place. Next time you want to see why room rates may be high check with the LasVegastourism web site to see all of the conventions that will be in LV.

Hi, lots of conventions basically. You will need to be flexible on your dates to get a good deal. Weekdays are usually cheaper than Friday to Sunday.

I think there's a major rodeo that hits town around then as well. Plus, the marathon is Sunday, which is pretty good sized. Sounds like a lot going on...

To get a feel of Las Vegas I recommend a walk down the strip at night. The streets are filled with people. You can buy some beer and just walk and drink and have a good time.
You are not obligated to go anywhere but yet you can go everywhere. You can visit the hotels and let their themes take you to a different place, whether it is Paris or Egypt . You can go on the rollercoaster in NY NY, or go on a gondola ride in Venice. Las Vegas gives me a sense of freedom. It is a break from the reality of 9-5.
It is known for its excitment and for a little naughtiness even.

Las Vegas is a very wild city,I loved it greatly(and I didnt even gamble)it had so many things to do,so many shows for the kids so many attractions.
Vegas is all about BIG things(hotels,buffets,ect.) I loved seeing my 5 year old daughter enjoying the magical shows...it was awsome.

Basically, I've been to Vegas too many times to count. Being from LA, Vegas is the premiere destination for getaway weekends. It's only a 4 1/2 hour drive from LA, and if you can avoid the cops, you can get there in less than 4 hours. If you like buffets, definitely check out Rio's Carnival buffet. Every foof and dessert imaginable here for a reasonable price. And the casino is one of my favorites too!

Personally, I find everything about Las Vegas to be 'over the top' but it is a place that everyone MUST see! You can always escape to the lake (Mead) if it overwhelms you. Alternatively, take to the skies for a scenic flight of the Grand Canyon.

The Conservatory at Bellagio is just off of the Main lobby, check in desk. They change this display for every season. The display never fails to amaze and take your breath away. This spring display includes a small butterfly house, and arches overhead that are actually fountains that you're walking under.
