    Short Stay

    by

A great location and friendly staff, though it shows it's age. I stayed here for free on business so I can't complain, but if I was going on vacation it would not be my first choice.

Unique Quality: The dealertainer pits are quite fun, and the balconies off the rooms are a nice feature not many hotels in Vegas have.

    Seedy....thread bare

    by

The rooms are strange, not quite oriental, not quite.....whatever, but shop worn. However, most rooms are large, and not quite Holiday Inn. As I say, I can't explain it. I do not recommend this facility.

Great location, best on the strip. Gambling done in dim lighting.

Unique Quality: none to speak of......did I mention great location, across from Caesars, close to everything else.

  • surprisingly pleasant stay

    by

stayed here for new year's eve weekend one year. it was a last minute road trip we took from los angeles, so most of the hotels were booked and prices of those with vacancies were astronomical.

we didn't expect much from imperial palace, but for the location and price, it makes for a great bargain.

service was friendly, helpful. room was well maintained/clean.

Unique Quality: location, location, location -- right in the middle of the strip, walking distance to just about all the more popular resorts (i.e. bellagio, venetian, caesar's palace, paris, etc.)

Directions: right smack in the middle of the strip! location is ideal...

    Nice Hotel

    by

For the more budget concious traveler. It is an older hotel on the strip neslted between the Venetian and the Flamingo. Right on the strip but not as flashy. The rooms were decent , inexpensive and if you could haddle the busy sidewalk, worth it! Be sure to ask for a map of the hotel and the elevators can be a triffle slow, but on the whole a wonderful experience.

Unique Quality: Every room has an outdoor balcony. Not a great view, but nice to sit outside.

    Directions: South Strip

    A bad hotel

    by

The Imperial Palace, although it is has a great location along the strip, that is the only real bright spot to this hotel. The rooms are very sub par, and the pool is just average, compared to the many other hotels. You will get sick if you eat at any of their restaurants.

Unique Quality: Although the price is very cheap, for good reason, i did stay there, but when i do a return visit, definitely wont be staying there.

Directions: The Vegas strip, in between Harrahs and Flamingo

    Cheap Rooms on the Strip

    by

The cheapest room offered by any hotels along the Strip was the Imperial Palace. Since I wasn't planning on camping out in the rooms throughout the trip, I didn't really care what the rooms were like or whether they were luxurious or not. It's a basic room...nothing fab but it's still comfy.

Directions: Across from the Mirage (home of Seigfrid & Roy) and beside Harrah's.

Las Vegas is crowded with hotels and other places to stay the night. However, you shouldn't sleep to long at night as it is the most thrilling part of the Vegas-days. We stayed at the Imperial Palace and had a good time there, but recommendations about hotels in general is to much to ask. Follow your intrest and then choose a theme. No doubt, there will be a hotel fitting to that wish.

    by

We stayed at the Imperial Palace. It was located in the Center of the Strip, so it was close to many of the other hotels. The accomodations weren't fancy, but the location was great and we had good customer service.

A bit of Asia in Las Vegas!

    by

Because of the effort they take to let people spend their money in the casino, the food, which is served in complete buffets, is very cheap. You can eat and drink as many as you want, also soup/Ice/drinks and so on are included.

    Unique Quality: Good buffet.
    Nice spacy rooms.
    Good swimming pool
In the middle of the strip.

The Imperial Palace is a first class, contemporary, multi-tower hotel with an oriental motif and decor. The hotel is located in the center of the Strip. Guest rooms feature climate control, color TV, and balcony. Hotel amenities include: Wheelchair access; nine restaurants; 24 hour coffee/tea house; ten cocktail lounges; Imperial Theater with the famous 'Legend in Concert,' casino with race and sports book; and the Imperial Palace auto collection with over 200 antique and classic autos on display; outdoor Shangri-LA pool with waterfall, spa, and bar, men's and women's heath spas ($10 per day); shops. Hotel policy does not allow Saturday arrivals. Guest must be 21 years of age to make a reservattion

Directions: The Strip, opposite of Ceasar's Palace.

    Imperial Palace

Unique Quality: This was where I stayed on my first trip to Las Vegas. It was a place to sleep and start the evening, nothing more nothing less. There is 2,700 rooms and suites and a 75,000 square-feet casino. The staff and atmosphere was friendly and a little more laid back than most places in Las Vegas. I had alot of laughs and good times here and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for one of the cheaper hotels to stay at while in Vegas.

Re: imperial palace

It is an older hotel. Many don't like it because of this fact, but others who like the "old Vegas" don't mind the lack of super-clean, new materials. I find it a bit dark, and the pool is very basic. HOWEVER, the location is fantastic!

above poster said it all. when confirming your reservation or when checking in, ask them for the most recently renovated room (if there is one). don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

I stayed there in 2003 on my first every trip to Vegas and this is what i writ in my report on my pages.>>>

IMPERIAL PALACE HOTEL by JOHNNY_ENGLISH

Accommodation Name:
Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino

I Stayed At The Imperial Palace Hotel For 3 Days In 2003 And It Was Exactly As I Expected.

A Cheap Slightly Run Down Hotel With A Great Center Strip Location Right In The Heart Of The Strip.

My Room Was Basic Of Average Size With A Decent Sized Bed.

The Bathroom Was Showing Signs Of Wear And Tear But Good Enough For My Needs.

The Hotel Lifts Were Quite Slow And Always Busy But The Casino Was Easy To Navigate And The Staff I Encountered Were Generally Helpful And Polite.

The Buffet Is One Of The Cheaper Ones At About 9 Dollars With Tax And Compares Ok With Others I Have Had And For Just $5 You Can Have Steak And Eggs Between 12am And 4am At The "Teahouse" Which I Did Seeing As I Got In Well After Midnight.

The Hotel Does Have A Very Good Show Called "Legends In Concert" Which I Thoroughly Enjoyed And Would Recommend To Everyone.

If You Are Looking For A Cheap Hotel Basically For Somewhere To Sleep And With A Great Location Then This Is Just Fine.

If You Want Something Classier Then Look Elsewhere.
