I did not stay in this resort, but did visit with new friends who did... I found this one of my favorite places to dine and shop as well. The service here was immaculate, as was the shopping and dining, and even the little gondola rides weren't all as cheesy as you would think, as most of the couples I saw riding through were newlyweds. The art here is fabulous, the Italian decor on the ceilings was fabulous, and I thought this place had awesome nightlife compared with some other hotels. I'd rank this place as one of the top 5, if not top 3, hotels in Vegas.
I loved the artwork on the ceilings, I am also a big fan of Italian cuisine, so that fit me well. The shopping was up to par with Caesars as was the nightlife, I particularly enjoyed Tao and V clubs. Stay here and you definately will have alot of fun at your fingertips. One of the larger and most beautiful hotels on the strip neighboring The Wynn, The Mirage and Caesars Palace. The hotel is a true materpiece in side and out. The exterior looks in places like San Marco Square in Italy. Beautiful bridges grace gondola filled canals welcoming you to the hotel. Be prepared to do some walking! The inside is vast with huge chandlers and marble/faux marble everywhere. The hotel contains a large casino, art gallery with high end rotating exhibits, pool, one of the best spas on the strip, multiple restaurants and a huge shopping area lined with gondolas. Gondola rides are available and give you a tour through out the hotel. The rooms are luxurious and all are suites. Each room has two pseudopartitioned areas one with the bed and the other a sitting area with tv and desk for business. Excellent service. One of my favorite hotels on the strip. Highly recommended.

So we stayed at the Venitian-which was a big SPLURGE for us, but I loved it! FIrst of all, stay at the Venizio tower, its the newer tower and in much better shape than the old building. PLus it has its own pool, which is smaller , but much less crowded. I just loved this hotel. Room service is amazing and they place the yummiest chocolates in you room. the room is spacious and cozy, and the bathroom is HUGE! ohh and the room service food is just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. the best! but warning-it is really slow. One night we went out, ordered late night food when we got back, but passed out before it came. I was the only one who woke up to get the door, and ended up eating it anyway bc it was just so good. The hotel is huge, so it takes foreever to get to the pool or shops, but thats the way all the hotels are. The main pool is too crowded and felt kind of dirty. we used the venezia tower pools most of the time. those are less crowded and much cleaner. The pools arent anything fun, no waves or lazy river or anything. pretty basic, large, square pools, but fun nonetheless. I think there are 3 pools in the main area, and another 3 in the venezia tower area (and one is a hot spring type) Highly recommended hotel. | | | | The Venetian: A very glamorous hotel Compare Rates NEW! | Satisfaction: | | | | |
Out of every casino that i have stayed in throughout Las Vegas, the Venetian has to be my favorite. Every room in house is a Suite, and for the amount you pay for a room, they better be. The bathrooms are wall to wall mirors, which can be good, or bad. 130sq ft. of bathroom alone, with marble floors. The suite itself is 650sq ft. A sunken living room with a work desk, sleeper couch, dinning table, and TV makes you feel at home. But it is not only the rooms that a fab at the Venetian. The resort itself, was made for a king. No expense was spared when it was built by owner Sheldon Adelson, and opened in 1999. You can not starve at the Venetian when there are 18 restaurants to choose from. Shopping is also an option here, in the Grand Canal Shoppes, with over 500,000sq ft or retail heaven. Here you will feel like your actually walking through the streets of Venice. The canal holds over 1 million gallons of water, and offers romantic gondola rides with singing gondoliers. All this is on the second floor! The casino floor offers over 120,000sq ft of gaming space. Finally make sure you take notice of all the paintings from renaissance and fresco time periods, that line the hotel walls and ceilings. They are all hand painted duplicates of famous venetian paintings, some taking over 1 year to paint. For more on this first class hotel, visit the following link to there officail website. They say that theres nothing standard about the standard room at the Venetian. Thats the truth. I stayed here once. A friend of mine was in Vegas and invited me to go over. It was Superbowl Weekend and I knew Vegas was going to be happening! The room was incredible. It was bigger than my intire apartment at the time. The bathroom was almost bigger than my enitre apartment! It was beautiful, very classy, clean, breath taking! I loved the rooms at the Venetian better than the rroms at Ceasers Palace. There was also a sunken living room, and all the decorations were amazing. Theme: HotelPrice: US$180 and up » Currency ConverterComparison: most expensive
