  • You all know I have stayed in Vegas 100 times over the last 35 years. I first stayed at TI when they opened...now that was a resort. Today, it is a tired old property that does nothing for the strip.

Housekeeping stunk! They left cans and trash on the desk for 2 days! It was almost comical to see how much they didn't do. The rooms were dated and the carpet was gross. The shower had little pressure and the curtain was thin and old.

Gambling is horrible. Dealers are mostly grumpy and I couldn't even stand while playing blackjack! Hello? I can't stand?? What is that? The uniforms are boring and only limited single deck blackjack and that is 6:5 payout....cheap.

We ate at the coffee shop one night and both my friend and I got sick two hours later. After ruining my weekend (I will spare you the details), and writing detailed letters to TI upon return home, I was offered an upgrade (if available) on my next visit (wow!). They refused to take responsibility for my food illness and wouldn't do anything for me after prompting me to fill out a risk management incident report.

There are so many great properties with excellent customer service....i.e Red Rock, etc...Why stay here?

Yeah...if they had any, I would tell you. Nothing outstanding here.

****Update...TI management did call to at least apologize for not reacting to my complaint. A check is on the way for some losses I suffered. At least they attempted to set things right.****

  • I stay here pretty often - its the cheapest of the good hotels on the strip - and its convenient, right on the main intersection, across from the Wynn, Venetian, Palazza, and Fashion SHow Mall - you can walk anywhere

and its easily off/on the interstate

get a room on the back side - the cannon on the boat (shows at night) goes off at 10:10 pm, and will wake you up and startle you

best location for access to other areas of the strip

  • Nice place to stay at but we went through 18... YES 18 keys for our room. The lock on our door and their computer system kept on screwing up so needless to say, we were a little fed up with the joint by the end of our adventure.

All in all, nice, but wouldn't go back. Not worth the money, rather stay somewhere else.

  • Service was excellent but a bit impersonal. Facilities were clean, modern and well maintained. I can't recommend this hotel UNLESS you want to be near the Fashion Show Mall or simply don't want to travel to see Mystere. The most annoying part of my stay centers around the fact that it was isolated from the main part of the Strip and was thus a bit of a walk to the center of the action. Also in keeping with the Island Theme all public areas are treated to a constant aroma of coconut oil air freshener. YUCK !!

The place was clean and modern. The food was good and average priced. The main thing this Hotel has going for it are the Cirque du Soliel Theatre and its production of Mystere and its location to shopping at the Fashion Show Mega Mall across the street.

  • This hotel offers a wide range of slot machines and Roulette,Blackjack tables etc
And for the kids there is a small arcade by the pool

It also has a wide range of cafes ,restuarants, and bars that include The terrace cafe and many more.

The pool is very Large and clean and also has a large jacuzzi and a bar.
If you would be wanting to spend a full day at the pool i would recommend hiring one of the huts.
This hut has 2 large cushioned sun beds out side of it, A mini fridge a plasma TV and 2 armchairs.

Treasure island has a beauty salon where you can pamper yourself for a day with massages makeovers and more!

The views from the rooms are wonderful and if you ask for a pool view you can also see the whole strip all the way down to New york New york.
Treasure island has a free show on every night that everyone can watch it is outside the hotel on the ship and it is a dance show.

  • check-in and check-out experiences were both speedy, pleasant and met with friendly service.

spa/massage service is highly recommended. staff was friendly and massage was heavenly.

room was nicer than i expected. the colors were neutral, earth tones; the bathroom was fabulous -- the mirror never fogged and the bathtub was deep with armrests (one of the best bathtubs i've ever bathe in).

  • Living in the lap of luxury. If you so much as break a nail, you can get a repair at the hotel. They accomodate all ages and even have wheelchairs and scooters for rent for the disabled.
Don't forget to sign up for the slot club, it will stand you in good stead for further discounts and deals for rooms in the future.

Quiet, comfortable rooms. A great place to get away from it all for a few minutes. Great location on the strip.
Hint, for best rates, check the hotel website and book ahead, You can stay for as little as $49 a night.

  • I paid about $69 a night here for three nightsm and the room was beautiful! IT loked very luxurious for the price, with a full mirror on the wall, a deep bathtub, and double beds with the softest covers! The view was nice too! Totally worth it.

  • I stayed here in Jan 2006 and had a blast. The rooms were much more nicer than some of the hotels I have previously stayed in and the rates were also less. So I got more for less. The rooms had nice beds with granite finishing and I had a room with a kick ass view of the strip. I dined downs stairs at the "steak house" which is a nice palce to eat with excellent service. Service was good. If you stay here you also get free admission to "tangerine" which is a swanky lounge on the first floor. You can also check out the pirate show deal on the boat. This is a good place to stay. I also had the pleasure of hanging out in the penthoust on the top floor and that is super nice with his and hers bathrooms, king size bed with all the nice linens, sofas and tables and a spectacular view.

Very nice rooms for not alot of money, more than other hotels offer.

Treasure Island - Ti: I Did My Homework; TI is the best for the Money!    Check Rates

  • Stayed at the TI in September 2005. The room was very nice for the money--actually better than I thought. I'd read online that the room walls were thin, but we certainly didn't have a problem with that--AT ALL. Our room faced The Wynn across the street, so the only complaint I had was that the Sirens of TI show plays at 11 pm (when it's not too windy, which fortunately only happened once during our stay) which kept me from sleeping the night before I had to catch a plane home! The casino is fab... and the sports book is better than a lot of other casinos. The food, especially Cantor's Deli and Dishes--the buffet--were top-notch. There was some work being done on the coffee shop, so we had a long walk-around to get to the elevators, but.... I will try to stay at TI every time I come back. I really like staying there. If you rent a car, as we did, you should self-park on the 3rd level. Or do the valet parking. It's much easier!

My first trip to Las Vegas and the hotel was the best choice possible. It's right in the middle of the strip's action. We rented a car, and the cross street, Spring Mountain Road, is just perfect for getting around off-strip. The Mirage, next door, is accessible via tram, and the Wynn, Bellagio, Paris, all that good stuff is just a short walk down the strip. Mystere, the Cirque du Soleil show, is supposed to be good, but it's not what I came to LV to see! The shopping in the hotel was really good. BTW, did I mention Cantor's Deli?? And how does a Florida girl deal with that desert air??
