great hotel
We stayed at TI , and i would have to say that the service was great. The food was great, The rooms were nicely furnished. And the price was right. The staff at the salon, did a great job on my makeup and hair for my wedding.
Unique Quality: The pool was a little crowded. you have to get there early to get a chaise lounge.
The view was great, and i named my own mountain out our window. gotta love the salon. Can;t find service like that in NJ
Ate at Buccanear bay and the food was awesome, the staff was very courtieous, and the price was not too espensive, about 170 for 2 people.

Unique Quality: Treasure Island has, as its name suggests, a pirate theme. There is a pirate show at the outside lagoon nightly. This hotel is connected to the Mirage by a monorail which runs back and forth between the two.

Great view of the strip from my room.
Unique Quality: Also free entertainment- a staged pirate battle every hour (I think). Fun for the first time; gets real old real fast, though...

A naval battle in the desert???
This hotel is well known for it performance of a battle between a ship of sirens and a ship of pirates.
This spectacular event is performed several times per night and the spectators stand in between the two ships. So you are right in the middle of the action.
During the battle a canon-ball causes a fire and hot flames. For this reason the performance cannot take place if the wind is too strong.

Living in the lap of luxury. If you so much as break a nail, you can get a repair at the hotel. They accomodate all ages and even have wheelchairs and scooters for rent for the disabled.
Don't forget to sign up for the slot club, it will stand you in good stead for further discounts and deals for rooms in the future.
Unique Quality: Quiet, comfortable rooms. A great place to get away from it all for a few minutes. Great location on the strip.
Hint, for best rates, check the hotel website and book ahead, You can stay for as little as $49 a night.

A real Treasure....(sorry, lame title...)
Now, this place definately makes you feel like you are living large!!! The lobby/casino area alone makes you feel like they should be rolling out the red carpet for you and taking pics!
The pirate show outside is amazing, and even though it happens hourly, the spectators still crowd around to see the sight...one thing though, keep an eye on your stuff when you are watching, the pick pocketers happen to be experts in this particular area...won't see it coming!!!

Las Vegas Treasure!
I loved this hotel! Several years ago when I was in Vegas it was run down but they have done some fixing up and this hotel was a lot of fun! The new outdoor Pirate show is very cool and for hotel guests there is premier seating. Hundreds of people fill the streets and sidewalks to see this free outdoor show.
Unique Quality: Nice rooms, monorail to The Mirage (another great hotel!), free outdoor show, pool was just redone, good restaurants. Good location.

Nice place...but...
Nice place to stay at but we went through 18... YES 18 keys for our room. The lock on our door and their computer system kept on screwing up so needless to say, we were a little fed up with the joint by the end of our adventure.
All in all, nice, but wouldn't go back. Not worth the money, rather stay somewhere else.

Cushy hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at Treasure Island. I rented a car between moving there from Barbary Coast , and it was easy to park though I didn't take advantage of valet parking.
Unique Quality: The room was very nice, a little more plush than Barbary Coast, but I honestly can't remember spending much time in it.
The casino was better to me than I expected, as I'd always heard how "tight" it was, but I had good luck (relatively speaking) when I varied from my usual video poker to play a silly nickel slot machine called something like Alien Family Reunion.
The breakfast buffet did not measure up to the buffets at many hotels in either selection or quality, it was more like a cafeteria setup, but as I like milk, coffee AND juice w/ my breakfast, buffets are usually less expensive than buying all my drinks at a regular restaurants.
I saw Mystere at Treasure Island while I was staying, and it was spectacular. It will go under my "must see if you feel like splurging" tips.
Since I stayed there Treasure Island has changed its name to "TI", supposedly more adult, and the free pirate battle is now sexier "Sirens of TI". I forgot to take a photo of the neat pirate town facade when I stayed there, as it is probably now gone. The wind was blowing too hard to hold the pirate battle.

Treasure Island Hotel amenities
We stayed at Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. It was a wonderful experience. I was not allergic to the shampoo or conditioner. Does anyone know what product they used? I would like to buy that brand because I am not allergic to the fragrance.
