great room, great location

check-in and check-out experiences were both speedy, pleasant and met with friendly service.

spa/massage service is highly recommended. staff was friendly and massage was heavenly.

Unique Quality: room was nicer than i expected. the colors were neutral, earth tones; the bathroom was fabulous -- the mirror never fogged and the bathtub was deep with armrests (one of the best bathtubs i've ever bathe in).

Not really worth it

We stayed here because of my brother's fascination with Pirates. It wasn't anything special.

Our room was really tiny and looked out over an ugly wall/roof. My parents' room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked. We guessed the maid was probably just smoking in there but we requested a room switch anyway.

The staff was a little difficult, too, esp. about the room switch.

I wouldn't stay there again.

Unique Quality: The art direction was lots of fun, and the tram is convenient to get further down the Strip. Also you're across from the Venetian which is a fun place to visit.

The Pirate Battle is of course a must-see. Just don't stay in the hotel!

Vegas "cheap"

Unique Quality: The excitement begins the moment you cross the long wooden bridge that traverses the waters of Buccaneer Bay. But, watch out for the cross fire when the explosive sea battle between the British frigate HMS Britannia and the pirate ship, Hispaniola, takes place, several times each afternoon and evening. Inside is where the decadent pleasure and tasteful indulgences of the pirate's life are yours.

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino
The last time we were there in 2000 we had a suite it ran us a little over $200.00 a night. The room was WONDERFUL!

Unique Quality: We had a great view of the strip and of the Buccaneer Bay Sea Battle. The service was great!

The only downfall, if you drive into Vegas the parking ramp is a little bit of walk to the front desk so drop off your bags first.

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino...

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino at the Mirage
$59 (low season mid-week) and up. Like all hotels in Vegas, it depends on the season, day or the week and big events that are going on in town.

Unique Quality: I really like the decor of this hotel. Its the home of Cirque du Soleil's Mystere- one of the most amazing shows I've ever been (see activities). Also, Treasure Island has its own Day Spa and Salon for those who enjoy massage and salon treatments.

Treasure Island Hotel.

Don't really remember the price but it sure was very expensive. Treat yourself to this luxury, you won't regret it.

Unique Quality: It is a very big hotel, like all the ones there. Many restaurants, shops, show, pool and ofcourse gambling. Best thing was their pirates show. It takes place late afternoon and evening. Two big ships will fight each other. Very spectacular to watch, go see it in the evening. It is just amazing to see. See above for a pic of the hotel.
