The best in luxury & quality in Las Vegas

    by

I cannot help but recommend this resort to anyone that wishes to be surrounded by luxury, quality of service and options that are almost limitless.

I have been wanting to stay at the Wynn since last year when I missed its April 2005 opening by mere weeks.

You are greeted with a smile by valet and reception and you are never far from help within the resort if you need it. Everyone was attentive to both needs (and wants).

The resort was spotless, well-equipped with the latest in technology inside each suite and on the ground floor and from the robes in the closet to the razors in the bathroom, everything a guest could need is either available or attainable. My room #3641 has an incredible view of the Strip and the remote-controlled floor to ceiling curtains was actually fun to use.

Unique Quality: The Wynn offers so much that it becomes a destination and except for a walk across The Strip to the Fashion Mall and two restaurants there, I never wanted to leave the Wynn during the day (my nighttime adventures will be described elsewhere).

There are 15 restaurants on property, a Tom Fazio golf course, a Ferrari-Maserati car dealership, the world's only dedicated Rolex store, an Esplanade of shopping that includes Cartier (and a 2.5 million dollar US ruby & diamond necklace), Oscar de la Renta, Louis Vuitton, and several Wynn exclusive shops.

The spa is top of the line and includes a full salon, the show "Le Reve" is nothing less than spectacular, and the two featured nightclubs, Lure & Tryst, are always popular with all ages.

The pools are large and spacious and there is a secluded European "topless" pool available. In addition, there are "shows" in the lake and waterfall area that separate the resort from the Strip and are only visible to guests within the resort.

This sounds like a promo but I can state that during my stay I cannot think of a single negative experience and that is something rare.

Directions: The Wynn is at the north end of The Strip, south of the Stratosphere and Stardust, across the street from the Fashion Mall and Treasure Island, and north of the Venetian.

    Wynn Las Vegas

    by

The Wynn Las Vegas is supposidely the newest and nicest hotel in Vegas. Every detail was managed by Steve Wynn, who has been involved in most of the major hotels in Vegas. Beautiful decor including flower garden and mosaic title floors when you enter - very remisinent of The Bellagio. Rooms very nice with flat screen tv's in all. Excellent service however everything in the hotel is as pricy as the rooms. Occasionally they have discounted rates and you can stay there for half the normal. When the hotel first opened Wynn gave all cab drivers in the city a free night's stay at the hotel. Great pool, multiple restaurants and great dance club - Tryst. Very nice hotel, but overhiped.

Unique Quality: Private rooms with individual pools available.
Only golf course on the strip!!! Must be staying at the Wynn to use it.
Poker room popular - easy access parking for locals making it a highly used poker room.
House only Ferrari dealership in Nevada.
    Extensive spa
    Shopping strip in the hotel

Directions: Las Vegas strip adjacent to The Venetian and across from Treasure Island

    The Wynn Hotel

    by

We LOVED staying at the Wynn. It is a bit pricy (in the range of the Bellagio) but we enjoyed every penny :) The rooms are beautifl, 700+ thread count sheets, great views of the city, luxurious bathrooms, plasma TV, remote control curtains. I really felt pampered here and we stayed in the standard room!

Unique Quality: BEAUTIFUL and fast elevators

Directions: On the strip next to the Venetian

    Does it get any better?

    by

Like a giant slice of chocolate cake, Steve Wynns latest edition to Las Vegas was definitely the catalyst for the word "luxury". An amazing hotel full of surprises that even boasts a full 18 hole golf course with 6 miles of cart paths right in its grounds! 40ft waterfalls tumble into lush tropical gardens making this one of the most sensational hotels ever built on the Strip

Unique Quality: Some of the most exciting designer outlets fill the Wynn Esplanade. Dior and Chanel rub shoulders with Cartier and Manolo Blahnik. Theres an amazing area full of fresh flowers growing and designed to hang in large ball shapes from the ceiling...equally as beautiful as the Bellagios Conservatory

    Awesome Hotel

    by

Very classy hotel. We liked it better than Bellagio. All the restaurants are great. Decor is great, whoever decorated this place did a very good job.
    The pool has private cabanas.
Rooms are very large, bathrooms are huge as well with marble floors.
Make sure to go to the Buffet here, it is incredible. The food that you get is of excellent quality for the price. We tried eating at the buffet at Treasure Island and it was terrible. The Wynns buffet is the best we found.

Unique Quality: Great views of the strip.

    Wynn Las Vegas

    by

This place was the newest, nicest hotel yet in Vegas, so, a stay was a must.. because it is new and so expensive players can get discounts, so without that it would cost quite a bit to stay here.. but it is very nice and the rooms are immaculate, they have this Andy Warhol replications in each room. The shopping here is not as extravagent as Bellagio or Caesars, but then again this place hasn't been finished yet as they are building another half on an adjacent lot. Very nice, but to stay here more than 3 days, you'd better be a high roller.

Unique Quality: I loved the panel screens in the bathroom, I mean, if a buffet gets you down in the "dumps", you won't miss the end of the game! Also free Ipods and panel TV's if you're relaxing at the Cabana, and the pool here is like a showcase of young models... better than some sexy Vegas shows! The 18 hole ON SITE golf course was also great to have, as well as the Maserati/Ferrari showcase, and the amazing waterfalls everywhere, this place was definately all that and more, its just waay to expensive for the average income.... it is a suite only hotel and if you don't have players comp or corporate discount, or stay on a 199 a night Monday or Tuesday, these suites will cost you at least 500 a night.

Directions: Just to the slight North of the center of the strip

    Wynn's - Umbrella's Down

    by

    Nothing spectacular about the
    hotel or casino ....

    Everything very expensive in
the hotel, including just a cup
of coffee or a soda ....

Unique Quality: Wynn Las Vegas Hotel Casino was
    conceived by hotel impresario
Steve Wynn to outshine the biggest,
glitziest hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

Has it lived up to expectations? - NO

NOT really family friendly, and they
DO NOT allow strollers if you have a
    little one with you ....

You'll get more for your money at
Bellagio or Ceasars for less money ....

The waitstaff in just the coffeshop had
an attitude like we were interrupting
her social life .... she was on a cell
phone talking to some guy ??

We asked for service twice, and she
said she'd be with us when she had
    finished her call ....

    NOT RECOMMENDED
OVER PRICED - NOT WORTH IT

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Starbucks in the wynn - Las Vegas?
If not, is there an alternative coffee shop within the hotel?
Thanks

Have you checked their website

I think every LV hotel has a coffee shop. Probably a lot of them are better than Starbucks. :-)

I can't remember if I saw one or not but I would go to their site:

http://www.wynnlasvegas.com

They are bound to have something, they have so many restaurants, cafes etc. you do not need to worry.

The Wynn has coffee much better than Starbucks. It is roasted by Boyd Coffee Company. I looked up their website and they are a family owned and operated company based out of Portland, Oregon and have been is business since 1900!! It was REALLY GOOD coffee!!!!
