bring your walking shoes
These hotel casinos are HUGE and while they are located adjacent to one another you will be walking much longer than you expected. Be sure to Use the free Monorail between the Mirage and Treasure Island

Saw the purple reign band a few years ago at HOB and they were good, but wondering what the set up is at Hooters now that they've moved? I know the show costs a bit more now, but what I'd really like to know if theres a dance floor available? Any reviews appreciated, thanks
Frankly, I am not sure, but I doubt there is a dancefloor in the actual showroom, and they do bill it as a "showroom". I think that they have built a "show" around Purple Reign, so do not expect the same performance as at the House of Blues. Expect a flashy light show and dancers, and as you may know already, the show is not just about Prince, but also Morris Day and Time. Such a "show" show, is likely like regular shows. You sit at a table and enjoy the spectacle.

Everyone one knows that Vegas is in essence one long road - but most people don't realise how long !!!.
Walking for Circus Circus to Luxor will take your 1 1/2 - 2 hours at a nice stroll , but if you decide to walk it through the Hotels - add another 1 hour !
So take comfortable shoes and ALWAYS carry a bottle of water - outside (even at night) its hot and you will need the water - inside its aircon city meaning dry mouths - so once again you will need it.
Also nice to have is one of those pocket humidifier sprays to freshen up and ALWAYS carry some headache tablets - the noise of those slots gets to everyone sooner or later.
For loads of Vegas pics visit my site : http://www.foulds.net My fondest memory of Vegas is not any show , any hotel or any place I visited (including the Grand Canyon) , but the atmosphere and vibe.
When you land and are waiting for your taxi you can see Vegas in the distance and you feel it slowly taking over you - its got an energy and buzz like no other place on earth.
The thing is , is that buzz for you ?

I had lived in Las Vegas before for 18 months. Whenever I go back there to visit friends, the city is just different. You have to stroll along the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.) after dark. Las Vegas is not just a gambling city. If you want to, you can go skiing on the mountain and go sailing at Lake mead. It's one of the most exciting cities in US.
just walk the strip - get into the interesting hotels (balagio has a watershow every 15 minuts after 9 pm, circus circus has every hour a circus show, pirats war in treasure island - just go see all of these shows)
also - u must gamble - even just a little bit (take the money u dont mind losing and when its done dont play anymore....also know to leave when u r wining) i made 40 USD -lol - that was fun (started with 2 USD)
It is way cheaper to buy a two-day pass than buying bus tickets each time. It saves you a lot of money... We enjoyed watching shows in Las Vegas. We have watched the Cirque du Soleil, the Fab Four, the Burlesque (not with kids though), ...Watching concerts in Las Vegas is fun...Just make sure to reserve early to get the best seats and best deal!
