CCC Accommodations: A Great Place To "Rough-It"

These small adobe buildings were built in the Valley of Fire to accommodate members of the Civilian Conservation Corps while working in the area. This is not were you would be camping. It is only a "ruins" site.

However, there are camping sites here and if this is the type of place you like to visit, look into what they offer.

I have not camped here, not much of a camper really, but those of you who like the desert and like camping, the camp grounds would be a unique place to stay.

The Civilian Conservation Corps assisted in the excavation of the sites and the construction of the museum building of The Lost City of Overton.
