My husband and I are truckers, so when we can get out of the truck for a few days we love going to.a hotel and stretching out. We had a delivery in Reno, so decided to spend a couple of days seeing Reno. So glad we chose the Ramada!! The room was very nice and very clean. The food was good and a good price. The staff was so nice and helpful, especially Carl and Jolene.
Thanks for a nice relaxing and fun time.

Unique Quality: Great view for the May 20th eclipse.
The Reno Plaza hotel just changed from a Holiday Inn... so recently the keys, soap, and other objects at the hotels and in the rooms still bear the Holiday Inn brand.
I booked the room on Priceline for about $60 for a Friday night in the fall, so I wasn't expecting much. The hotel actually turned out to be a fairly decent, if slightly run-down, old Holiday Inn with an attached Casino. Just over 1/2 mile away is the Reno Strip with all the big famous casinos like Circus-Circus, Harrah's, The Sands, and more. We walked to the strip in the daylight but took a taxi back to the hotel because the neighborhood didn't seem to be the best place to walk at night.
The hotel is nicer than some of the cheaper places in the neighborhood (Days Inn, Econo Lodge), and it has a few nice features such as the attached casino, free parking, free wi-fi, and more.
