This July day began with sunny skies and a temperature of above 80 degrees. At the summit, the temperature registered somewhere in the 40s and light rain fell. When you hear that the conditions on Mount Washington can change dramatically, believe it.
North Conway, located on the southeast side of the Crawford Notch, offers accommodations for travelers wishing to explore this scenic area of New Hampshire. The Conway Scenic Railroad provides trips pulled by either steam locomotive or old-fashioned diesel engines. These trains employ vintage passenger cars to help their riders enjoy their trip and the view.

My Dear English friend Graham and I take some post-skiing time to do some serious goofing around.. Please note the charming Manchester Utd. hat Im wearing. Which was of course a gift from this buddy from Manchester, UK!
Also check out the view in the background. That's mount Cranmore, which is the sweet little ski area we skiied at in the White Mountains. It's where I learned to ski many many years ago!
