The traffic can be horrendous by afternoon. Slip thru in the early morning hours if you can. But if you're there for the shopping, find a parking spot and WALK! Lot's of good shopping and it's all tax free!

fantastic even on a cloudy day like we had. The following day was sunny enough to take a drive on the Kangamagus Highway. Most restaurants here are VERY good and hard to find a bad one. Well my theory is: if there are lot's of cars in the parking lot, there MUST be good food being served there!
North Conway, Jackson and Bartlett put out Pumpkin People displays. What fun! It started in Jackson and has become a friendly compatition with the local establishments in the surrounding area towns. See my travel log for the ones I had time to stop and take pictures of.

pull us back to North Conway. We all trade sides in the coach cars so that we get to see the views on the other side of the train on our way back. That's great because we all get to see the views from both sides.

I got many pictures of the most beautiful view of this very popular hotel. The train stop each car at the best spot for pictures.
