Mt. Wildcat.

Wildcat can often be the victim of the cold weather systems which pound nearby Mt. Washington. Keep that in mind when you ski there.
The mountain itself is great for skiing and has some good terrain to ski. I would however make sure that you are not skiing on a really cold day as the weather here can did very low and allow for frostbite. ski's!
Scenic New Hampshire

"Beautiful all the time, but especially in the fall"
As you probably know after reading this and many of my other pages, I am in love with New England. So is Bonnie, and who knows - we may someday retire there. It's a simple place, full of natural beauty. Yes, it gets colder than a deep freeze in winter, but God Bless them, at least they have seasons - something I miss terribly in Florida. And, the spirit of the people is inspiring as well. Here's a place that folks generally work hard and care about their friends and neighbors. I guess that's it - rural New England is like one large "small town".
Let me just share some fall beauty from our recent anniversary trip to New Hampshire....
.
.
.
.
.
.
....how about the combination of an ice blue sky and exploding yellow leaves in October?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.....an early more sky over the White Mountains is worth getting up early and braving the bite of a morning frost.....
.
.
.
.
.
Even in the middle of town, you feel like you're so far away from any hustle or bustle.
.
.
.
.
.
And, New England equals historic covered bridges.
.
.
.
.
.
The peaceful clear blue of Lake Winnepausaukee, another New Hampshire treasure. Kind of makes you remember "On Golden Pond", doesn't it?

And even though "nature" does a great job of coloring New Hampshire's autumn, the local residents pitch in to make it all perfect.
