Fairfield Inn Seacoast
I went on Priceline and put in a bid of $49 and ended up with this hotel I looked later and rooms were going for $139 and higher! I was happy with the room. It was clean, the front desk was very helpful, and the breakfast was above average for continental fare.

Unique Quality: It's not real close to the historic section of (Downtown) Portsmouth but my daughter and I were able to walk there without much trouble. And from there we walked to Kitterey, Maine.

Friendly
My wife and I slipped away for a Saturday night for some one on one QT away from the children. The Staff was pleasant and the facility presented itself well. There is a pool, but we did not see it up close. There is an absence of a resturant and a lounge, as expected with the Fairfield. The location is closer to the highway than downtown, just a short drive though.
We would probably try to stay in town next time to keep the stay as a pedestrian visit.
